  • STORY TEAM
    Members

  • The original nonfiction story and route of New York Sports Tours' New York sports history tour ride was created by Jordan Sprechman and Kevin O'Keefe.

Neil Amdur (center, with tour guest Paul Brzozowski at a tour lunch) and Mary Carillo provided editing and other narrative input on the story.

A noted author-producer, Amdur served as the sports editor of The New York Times for 12 years.

Carillo, a celebrated television reporter and New York City native, has twice received broadcast media's coveted Peabody Award for storytelling.

During story development, hundreds of original sources were analyzed, historical accuracy was prioritized, and some new discoveries were made about New York sports.
